So, the doorbell rings at the beginning of the story because Kirsten’s girlfriend Gianna got married, but not to Kirsten, and Kirsten is devastated. After it becomes clear that Kirsten still desires Lea herself (though she’d never act on it because Lea’s her best friend), Sean convinces Lea to sleep with Kirsten while he and Andy are working at the firehouse. Andy thinks this a great idea. Lea isn’t sure — she’s the straight person among the bisexuals here, but agrees because
- She’s had an experience of sharing Sean with another woman (Cherry — while Andy fucked Cherry’s husband) and realized that while it wasn’t a huge turn-on, it was still fun
- She loves Kirsten and would do anything to cheer her up.
She’s just trying to convince Kirsten of this plan when Lea’s phone rings and they find out that Sean’s gotten hurt; they have to come to the hospital.
This scene takes place just after they’ve left the hospital and gone back to their apartment.
And guess what! There are lots of surprises still, so I haven’t spoiled you on the whole story. 😉
